Meet Carol Goraczko
Carol Goraczko has been in the legal field since 2002 and has been a paralegal with the firm since 2009. She works alongside the attorneys from case inception through trial. Having started her career doing medical malpractice defense, she found her home at STFBC working for Plaintiffs who have been catastrophically injured or who have lost a loved one as a result of malpractice. She believes her role as paralegal is an important one to not only provide justice for those harmed by negligence but to hold people and organizations accountable for their actions with the hope of creating a safer place for us all. She handles the firms’ birth injury, medical malpractice, hazing, products liability, auto negligence, and sexual assault cases, among other areas of practice.
Carol graduated cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. She has been a Florida Registered Paralegal since 2009 and is also a Notary Public, having used the latter title to officiate six weddings for close friends. She has enjoyed volunteering in and outside of the legal field, previously serving as a judge during the Miami Dade County School High School Mock Trial competition and volunteering in her own kids’ schools as room mom and past secretary of the PTA. In her spare time she enjoys playing tennis, boxing and spending time with her family.
We Don't Just Talk About Results. We Get Them.

Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, P.A. won a record verdict for a 77-year-old stroke victim who lost the use of the left side of her body due to the negligence of her doctors. Despite being at a higher risk for blood clots and strokes, her cardiologist and electrophysiologist (a heart rhythm specialist) took her off Coumadin—a medication designed for preventing blood clots and strokes. The defendants argued that the patient didn’t deserve a large verdict due to her advanced age and lower life expectancy. The jury saw through their cynical arguments and awarded our client nearly $8 million—the most damages awarded to a malpractice victim over the age of 70 in Florida history.
