History of STFBC
The history of Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain is one of choosing quality over quantity. In 1984, four of our partners left a large firm to focus on representing less clients. With the prevalence of a "bigger-is-better" mentality, many law firms struggle to keep up with mountainous caseloads. As a result, their quality of representation is lessened. Since the beginning, our philosophy has been just the opposite. By limiting our caseload, we allow our highly skilled, experienced attorneys to devote the necessary time, resources, and attention to each client and their respective case. In nearly the three decades since our founding, our principal attorneys have averaged around 10 clients per lawyer at any given time.
The Secret to Our Success
As a firm, we strive to maintain a hands-on approach to our cases. A limited caseload allows us to truly get to know our clients, their circumstances, and their needs. Additionally, it allows us to devote more time to their case than many other firms would be able to devote. Our track record of success affirms the effectiveness of our approach.
In fact, we have obtained hundreds of millions on behalf of our clients, received numerous awards, and even changed legislature as a result of our litigation! Our noteworthy cases would not be possible without the thousands of hours we have devoted to each client.
