Meet Julie C. Fernandez
Julie C. Fernandez received her paralegal certificate from the University of Miami in 2008 and is a Florida Registered Paralegal. She has experience in many areas of law but has found her niche in products liability, wrongful death and medical malpractice. She assists her attorneys during trial, feels at home in the courtroom and appreciates the commitment it takes to litigate a case. She is devoted to her clients and feels that telling their story is of the utmost importance. Ms. Fernandez aligns herself with STFBC’s passion and believes in their mission of quality over quantity.
Julie graduated cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literature and a certificate in Exile Studies. She is also a notary public. Her future endeavors include becoming a Certified Paralegal and immersing herself in legal associations where her knowledge and experience can continue to flourish through interaction with her colleagues. She has volunteered in and out of the legal field, serving as the President’s assistant for the Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association in 2017 and charity events for His House Children’s Home. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her daughter, Olivia, her greatest joy.
We Don't Just Talk About Results. We Get Them.

Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, P.A. won a record verdict for a 77-year-old stroke victim who lost the use of the left side of her body due to the negligence of her doctors. Despite being at a higher risk for blood clots and strokes, her cardiologist and electrophysiologist (a heart rhythm specialist) took her off Coumadin—a medication designed for preventing blood clots and strokes. The defendants argued that the patient didn’t deserve a large verdict due to her advanced age and lower life expectancy. The jury saw through their cynical arguments and awarded our client nearly $8 million—the most damages awarded to a malpractice victim over the age of 70 in Florida history.
